Blood Test Appointment Information and Instructions

Phoenix Labs
If you attend at Phoenix Labs, 25 Harley Street: please print and take a copy of your lab form to your lab appointment. Phoenix sends the report to the Centre directly.
Phoenix Blood Test Kit
If you use their blood test kit to attend a blood draw appointment local to you (via your GP, Express Medicals, or a qualified phlebotomist, friend or family member), both your lab form & instructions to book your blood draw appointment are in the kit. The Centre sends out these kits. Please follow the Centre’s proposed date and time to book your own blood draw, between 9-11am). You return your sample immediately following blood draw. Randox Labs
The Centre sends you a link for you to book your blood draw appointment with this provider. Follow the Centre’s proposed date and time of blood draw, between only 9-11am, minimum of 7 days before the consultation with doctor. No kit required. Randox sends the report to the Centre directly. Medichecks
You order a blood test kit and book your blood draw appointment directly with your provider (follow the Centre’s proposed date and time, between only 9-11am, minimum of 7 days before the consultation with doctor).

You must provide a lab report. Log on to your Medichecks dashboard, click the grey button in the top right ‘printer friendly’, create a PDF file and email it to us or upload into your portal. (full detail further down this page)
Other 3rd Party Lab
You book your blood draw appointment directly with your provider. Follow the Centre’s proposed date and time of blood draw, between only 9-11am.
Your test panel markers MUST MEET THE CENTRE’S MARKERS.
You must provide a lab report (PDF preferred, which has your name and the lab name on the file you provide).
Sirkka Nurse-to-Home (or Work) Service
- The Centre books your blood draw appointment for you.
- No lab form required.
- The nurse will bring a blood test kit to you and return the sample to the lab for you.
- Sirkka uploads your report into their Sirkka portal for you, which the Centre has access to.

Randox Lab Detailed Instructions
Attend a Randox clinic for your blood draw appointment, close to your home or office. This requires:
- No lab form
- No blood test kit
- No sample return
Which blood panel?
- The Centre for Men’s Health has its own blood panel test with Randox.
- We will select the correct blood panel and location for your blood draw appointment.
You will book the date and time directly with Randox
- Randox will send you an email – check your spam folder as it may end up there
- Email subject line: Nexus by Randox Health, Appointment Referral
- Appointment code is your reference code for your booking.
- Ignore the mention of ‘GPs request’. It is the Centre that has made the referral.
Which day to book your Randox appointment
- Preferably seven (7) days before your consultation with the doctor
- No later than 72 business hours (3 working days) before the consultation
- If your Randox blood draw is on a SATURDAY or SUNDAY, you must attend two weekends ahead of the consult with your doctor (NOT Saturday or Sunday immediately before unless there are 3 working days to your consult with the doctor)
What time of day?
Must be between 9 and 11am (as your levels start to drop after 11am).
Additional Blood Markers
You cannot request additional markers during your appointment. Speak to the Centre in advance if you wish to add markers to the standard blood panel. There will be an extra charge for each additional marker.
Confirmation of Booked Appointment
- Only you receive a confirmation of appointment booked.
- IMPORTANT – Let us know your booking details
- Please forward your confirmation of booking email from Randox to the Centre, or ring or email the Centre with the details so we may update your portal.
Fasting from night before
- FASTING from 10pm (22:00) the evening before your appointment
- CLEAR WATER only. Two full glasses of water before your appointment
- No food
- Take your medication as usual.
Attending your appointment
- Have your confirmation email (appointment code) with you (printed or on your mobile).
- No lab form required.
- No blood test kit required.
- Randox sends your sample to their lab for analysis.
Your Lab Report
- It can take 72-business hours (3 working days) for availability of your report.
- When ready, Randox will upload your report into the Centre’s account portal.
- We will upload your report into your patient portal with the Centre and advise you it is ready.
Cancellation or Change or Do Not Attend your Appointment
24-hours’ notice is required for cancellation. Charges will apply for late cancellation and do not attend.
How to cancel

- Click on the ‘Cancel / Reschedule Appointment’ Section, or
- Click on the Chat, for a live chat. You will need to answer a few security questions.
Cost & Payment
- £270.00 for new patient and £265.00 for existing patients.
- If you have a doctor consult booked, payment is after you have spoken to the doctor. If you have only had labs done, payment is due before we release your report.

Choose the correct blood test
The ONLY test we accept from Medichecks is the Medichecks Advanced TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) Blood Test.

Find a clinic near you

Pay and select preferred clinic
Once registered and you’ve paid for the correct blood test, select ‘visit one of our partner clinics’ and select your preferred clinic.
Book your blood draw
This must be at least five (5) Business Days Before Your Doctor Consultation. This is to ensure enough time for your sample to be sent to the lab, analysed and a report prepared in time for your consultation.
Each Clinic is different. Some clinics have a blood test kit on site at their clinic, some do not.
- For those clinics which do NOT, they will send you a blood test kit in the mail.
- Rush Service: If you are in a rush, you can order the blood test kit to come to you via special delivery for an extra charge.
- It is recommended to wait until your kit has arrived before booking your appointment or ensure several days between your order and the appointment booking.
Attending your blood draw appointment
- You will receive an email from Medichecks confirming your blood test and clinic details.
- If appropriate to the clinic you’ve chosen to attend, wait for your blood test kit to arrive in your post at home or office
- Attend your blood draw appointment.
- Send your sample to the lab, as directed.
- Wait For Your Lab Report
- Wait for an email telling you that your report is ready.
- When your report is ready, logon to the website to view your report.
- You can ‘print’ a PDF to save onto your computer desktop.
Let the Centre know about your Medichecks appointment
- Kindly advise of your blood draw date so we can update your record.
- When you have your report, please email us a copy or upload into your CareBit portal with the Centre for Men’s Health.
Cost & Payment Upfront
£179.00 (£149.00 is the website price for the blood test + £30.00 for the partner clinic visit). You will be charged at the time of ordering your test.
